Slade Family

This family is amazing. She works with my hubby at the hospital, so not only has she been a mentor to him as he is figuring out this residency thing, but we swap babysitting each Friday so it has been fun to watch our kiddos grow up together. I was honored to be part of Baby O first photo shot and capture those precious moments that seem to go by so fast. Something special about there family shoot: we shot it in their own backyard. The lighting may not have been ideal, but I love when families want to incorporate sentimental locations with their memories. It can add a lot of depth to a photo, knowing not only are these the people that we love, but it was in the place that the love was fostered.
