This is the third year of photographing this family and they only keep getting cuter and cuter. I know the trend these days is to have more lifestyle photos of your family (duh, who wouldn't want to remember your kiddos being the cute, funny kids that they are) but you still want that picture perfect photo for your wall. Well, I have started offering "Semi-Lifestlyes". Half the session is traditional poses and the other half is just your family laughing, playing, and goofing off like they normally do. Husbands like it become they don't have to do their fake smile for a whole hour, kids like it because it is fun play time with dad, and moms love it because of all the great photos afterwards. Win, win, win!
